The ideal candidate will have experience working on roofing projects and possess a strong background in various construction disciplines. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. The Roofing Technician will play a vital part in delivering high-quality results for residential and commercial clients, utilizing a diverse set of skills including blueprint reading, carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as caulking guns, welding machines, and masonry tools Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on-site Conduct framing, trim carpentry, stucco application, metal stud framing, and tile laying as needed for roofing projects Assist with construction estimating and material fabrication to meet project specifications Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or related construction work Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and fabrication techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction machinery Experience with concrete forming, masonry, plumbing, remodeling, restoration, framing carpentry, maintenance person tasks, metal stud framing, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, heavy lifting, welding, or masonry is highly desirable Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights in various weather conditions Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on roofing or related trades is preferred Join our team as a Roofing Technician to contribute your expertise in delivering durable roofing solutions while advancing your skills within the construction industry.
