Responsibilities Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, safety barriers, and staging areas to ensure efficient workflow Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support accurate project execution Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation to facilitate timely progress Use caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques to ensure durable and weather-tight roofing finishes Support other construction activities including framing, masonry, or remodeling tasks as needed on-site Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials Qualifications Prior experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, or general construction site work is preferred but not required Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety equipment used in roofing projects Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Basic understanding of schematics, metal stud framing, plumbing, or masonry is a plus Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills such as welding or tile laying Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines Valid driver's license or reliable transportation is advantageous for site access Join us in building quality roofs while enjoying a flexible schedule that fits your life!
