Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gutter Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gutters on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand tools and power tools. The Gutter Installer will work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely project completion. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install various types of gutters, downspouts, and related components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during installation processes. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and site logistics. Perform quality inspections of installed gutters to ensure proper function and aesthetic standards. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris appropriately. Assist with other construction tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, or restoration work as needed. Experience Prior experience in construction site work or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or remodeling is preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fixture installation is highly desirable. Knowledge of various construction disciplines including plumbing, electrical work, concrete forming, stucco application, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, or glass installation will be considered a plus. Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor environments while adhering to safety protocols is essential.
