Duties Install new roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials according to project specifications and blueprints. Repair and replace damaged roofing components, ensuring longevity and weather resistance. accurately execute installation procedures. Prepare work sites by performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely; utilize scaffolding and fall protection measures. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and flashing techniques to ensure watertight seals around vents, chimneys, and edges Assist with other construction tasks such as framing, masonry, or remodeling as needed on-site. Experience Prior experience in roofing installation or general construction site work preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment essential for efficient job performance. Experience with heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and safety protocols on construction sites. Additional skills in carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing, masonry, welding, tile laying or restoration are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining safety standards.
