Position Overview:
The Senior Sheet Metal Technician will be responsible for performing advanced structural repairs, fabrication, and modifications on a variety of aircraft. This role requires a deep understanding of aviation sheet metal practices, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex sheet metal repairs and structural modifications on aircraft Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals Fabricate and install aircraft parts using aluminum, steel, and composite materials Conduct inspections to identify structural issues and determine appropriate repairs Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company quality standards Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance when needed Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Aircraft We Service:
Our technicians regularly work on a wide range of airframes, including: Beechcraft (King Air series, Bonanza, Baron) Cessna (Citation jets, 400/500 series, Caravan) Learjet (20/30/40/60 series) Gulfstream (GIII, GIV, GV series) Hawker / Beechjet series Dassault Falcon (Falcon 10, 20, 50, 900 series) Various turboprop and light-to-midsize business jets

Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft sheet metal or structural repair Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation safety standards Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics Strong fabrication skills, including forming, cutting, and fastening techniques Experience with a variety of aircraft types preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Preferred Qualifications:
A&P License (preferred but not required) Experience in both commercial and general aviation environments Prior leadership or mentoring experience
