In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal ducts used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Your expertise in sheet metal fabrication, precision measurement, and machinery operation will ensure that products meet quality standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Operate machinery including plasma cutter, TDF, Pittsburgh, Roto-Die machining tools to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components. Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble duct sections accurately according to design specifications. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocol forklifts, and equipment. Collaborate with team members during fabrication and assembly processes to optimize workflow and product quality. Qualifications Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environments with a focus on ductwork or HVAC components. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and adjustments during fabrication processes. Familiarity with safety procedures involving forklifts, hand tools, and manufacturing equipment. Excellent mechanical aptitude combined with strong attention to detail and quality standards.
