Compensation:
starting $35 per hour, based on experience, qualifications and scope of work About the Opportunity An established specialty construction and building-services company is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Installer and Fabricator to perform installation work on commercial and multifamily residential projects throughout South Florida. We are seeking a reliable, experienced contractor who can work independently, interpret plans and field measurements, and professionally install prefabricated and custom sheet-metal assemblies. Projects may involve new installations, replacement work, repairs and modifications inside occupied buildings and active construction sites. This opportunity is best suited to someone with experience in architectural sheet metal, HVAC ductwork, stainless-steel fabrication, commercial equipment installation or similar mechanical systems. Scope of Work Install prefabricated and custom sheet-metal assemblies Measure, cut, fit, modify and secure galvanized and stainless-steel components Assemble metal sections using rivets, fasteners, brackets and approved connection methods Perform field modifications when site conditions require adjustments Read and follow construction drawings, measurements and installation specifications Safely remove and replace existing metal components Coordinate installation work with project managers, technicians and ot
