$20+ based on experience Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator / Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for fabricating high-quality metal components by setting up and operating press brake machinery, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring precision in every part produced. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in metal fabrication and a strong understanding of press brake operations, tooling, and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal parts Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to meet specifications Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings (angles, depths, tolerances) Perform accurate measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance checks Troubleshoot machine or production issues as they arise Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience operating press brake machines Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong math and measurement skills Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange Park, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
