Randall Mechanical is currently seeking qualified Commercial Sheetmetal Mechanics to work on large projects in Orlando , Florida. Position Summary Randall's Sheet Metal Mechanics are responsible for the fabrication and installation of HVAC ductwork in very large projects in commercial or industrial buildings. Experience Required Three - five years of experience in commercial sheetmetal duct installation work GED or equivalent diploma Must be familiar with proper use of PPE and OSHA rules applicable to construction sites Essential Functions / Qualifications Possess all necessary tools of the trade. Must be able to work well with others. Must have effective communication skills. Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams. Must be familiar with materials, equipment and devices commonly used in commercial sheetmetal ductwork installations. Capable of operating scissor lifts. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Physical Requirements This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
