Position Title:
Sheet Metal Mechanic Trainee Must be able to work 1st and/or 2nd shift after the completion of 6-week training program. Training program days are Monday-Friday Who are we? Company is family owned and operated in 13 countries with a rich history dating back to 1863, is seeking mechanically inclined individuals for our next Sheet Metal Mechanic Entry Level Class beginning on/around February 23, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for on-the-job training that can start you on an exciting career path in aviation manufacturing! Hourly rate of pay for this position is $21.67/hour. As an employee you will participate in our comprehensive 6-week training program, with in class and hands on training, be assigned a mentor, and upon successful completion, earn your Level One Sheet Metal Mechanic rank. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, modify, and install aircraft sheet metal and composite components. Fabricate and rework complex structural assemblies. Use precision measuring devices to ensure quality standards. Perform inspections and maintain accurate work records. Work from engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
Basic Skills And Requirements:
Mechanical experience required, including the use of drills, pneumatic tools, and hand tools Must be able to demonstrate comfort level and competency using them. High School Diploma or GED. Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English due to nature of job. Ability to work 1st and/or 2nd shift upon completion of class.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Frequent use of hands for various tasks. Standing, walking, reaching, and stooping regularly. Maintain steady hand-eye coordination. Ability to reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions. Effective communication skills and ability to hear.

HOURLY RATE OF PAY FOR THIS POSITION IS
