Job Summary
Aircraft Structures Mechanic (Sheet Metal / Structures Assembly)
We are seeking experienced aviation structures professionals to join a growing MRO team in South Florida. This role supports structural assembly, sheet metal repair, fabrication, and modification work on aircraft within a high-performance maintenance and production environment. $33.00-$40.00/hour (DOE)

Work Schedule
Full-Time
On-site position in South Florida
Key Responsibilities
Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and structural repairs
Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
Support aircraft modification, repair, and structural build-up activities
Drill, rivet, form, and fit structural components to specification
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation of completed work
Collaborate with team members to meet production and turnaround goals
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of aircraft structures, sheet metal, or OEM assembly experience required
Strong background in aircraft assembly or production environments preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Experience with aircraft structural repair techniques (riveting, drilling, fastening, fitting)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in OEM or MRO aircraft manufacturing environments strongly preferred
Prior experience on commercial or business aircraft platforms (Airbus, Boeing, regional aircraft, etc.)
Completion of formal aircraft structures or sheet metal training programs
Familiarity with production line or high-volume assembly environments
