Job Description

About us D-J Engineering specializes in challenging projects many companies refuse to even start. We provide high-caliber engineering and reliable manufacturing for large assemblies and parts that are emergent, difficult, odd or legacy. If you need to develop new manufacturing processes for low production runs, our speed, resolve and expertise make us your strategic asset. You will not find a harder-working team. Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal components and systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and OEM specifications
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates or measurements
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Skills :
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tools
  • Familiarity with torguing, sealing, and fastener installation
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines Things that would put you ahead are: Electrical bonding Aerodynamic Surfaces Experience in large assemblies
Note:
Prior experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic is preferred. D-J Engineering, Inc. is an EOE company.
