Job Overview:
As a Deburr Technician, you will be responsible for removing burrs and excess material from machined or sheet metal components to meet precise tolerances. This role involves using a variety of hand, pneumatic, and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience Required:
At least 1 year of experience in an aerospace or aircraft machine shop Hands-on experience with deburring tools
Qualifications:
Ability to stand for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and proper use of PPE Reliable transportation and willingness to work overtime as needed Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong blueprint reading skills Familiarity with hand tools and precision instruments (e.g., calipers) Self-motivated and able to work independently Solid problem-solving and communication skills Attention to detail is essential
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret work orders, specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine deburring requirements Deburr machined and sheet metal parts to specified tolerances using appropriate tools and techniques Inspect completed work using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to tolerances Meet production targets for quality, quantity, and cycle time Take ownership of tasks and contribute to continuous improvement efforts Perform other duties as assigned

Second Shift:
Mon.•Thurs., 3 p.m.•1:30 a.m.
Weekend Shift:
Fri.•Sun., 4 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
