Job Description
Job Description Palmer & Sicard is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Installers to join our team and contribute their expertise to our growing projects. The ideal candidates will have 2 years or more of previous commercial Sheet Metal installation experience. Duties Sheet Metal installers fabricate, assemble, repair or install sheet metal products and equipment used for heating and air conditioning in a commercial environment. Work closely with the CAD department during the design to fabrication process. Read and interpret blueprints Generate RFI's for submission to the Project Manager Generate fabrication and materials lists in the prescribed manner Fasten seams and joints together with bolts, rivets, metal drive clips, and screws in order to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items Requirements Proven experience as an Sheet Metal Installer or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various HVAC equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Gas Piping License MA Sheet Metal License is a plus Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
