- Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Signage Installer / Fabricator to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing high-quality signage solutions across various locations. Your expertise in metal fabrication, welding, and interpreting technical drawings will ensure that each project meets precise specifications and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and craftsmanship to bring visual communications to life. Duties Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate signage components. Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and sheet metal shears to cut, bend, and assemble metal parts. Perform welding operations including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and welding to join metal components securely according to AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and installation purposes. Fabricate signage structures using sheet metal fabrication techniques while adhering to ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards. Install signage on-site with precision, ensuring proper alignment, stability, and safety compliance. Interpret construction schematics and technical drawings accurately; utilize shop math and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment; follow safety protocols at all times during fabrication and installation processes. Experience Prior construction site experience or manufacturing background with a focus on metal fabrication or signage installation preferred. Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, gas metal arc welding, plasma cutting, and press brake machinery is highly desirable. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting mechanical blueprints is essential. Familiarity with rigging techniques, pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and mechanical fabrication processes is a plus. Work at heights installing signage Experience operating forklifts, power tools, machining equipment, soldering tools, and using calipers or micrometers for precise measurements will set candidates apart. Construction experience involving installation of signage or related structures will be highly valued.
