Job Description

Must be willing to travel/temporarily relocate to Wichita, Kansas.
What We Offer:

The Metals Mechanic I4 is responsible for performing advanced-level metal fabrication, forming, and straightening operations on complex aerospace components. This position requires experience working with tight tolerances, precision forming equipment, and the ability to interpret engineering requirements to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and apply advanced methods, techniques, and tooling (including form blocks) to support metal straightening and forming operations. Set up, adjust, and maintain heat, gas, and hydraulic control systems within specified operational limits. Operate and monitor stretch press and hand router equipment to achieve precise part geometry. Fabricate, form, and assemble mechanical, structural, and/or plumbing components for aerospace applications. Work on parts of high complexity requiring exacting tolerances and adherence to engineering drawings. Use precision test and inspection equipment to verify conformity to engineering specifications. Interpret blueprints, sketches, work orders, and technical instructions to complete assigned operations. Identify and support continuous improvement in forming and fabrication processes.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in stretch press and/or hand router operations. Strong background in metal forming, straightening, and aerospace fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Experience working with tight-tolerance aerospace parts.
