Ductwork Fabricator

5 Star Sheet Metal LLC is growing and we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Sheet Metal Fabricator. The Sheet Metal Fabricator will work with our team to assist in the fabrication of ductwork for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the requirements of each project.
• Assist with the layout, measuring, and marking of sheet metal materials using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Support the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, including ductwork and fittings
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of existing sheet metal equipment as needed.
• Handle and transport sheet metal materials, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents and hazards. Collaborate effectively with team members and customers. Clear communication with customers

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent communication skills with customer and team members.
• Experience making ductwork preferred including use of a coil line, plasma table, roll former, etc and manually laying out fittings.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently or as part of a team to accomplish project objectives
• Must be able to stand for 90% of your day
• Must be able to independently lift, pull, push and pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs. and 50 - 100lbs. with assistance.
• Strong work ethic

• Highly reliable and punctual

Paid Holidays Job Types:

Full-time Pay:

Up to $35 per hour based on experience Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Shift option of 7am-3:30 pm, 8-4:30 or 9am-5:30p after training period
• Monday to Friday Overtime as needed
