Responsibilities Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and assemble metal parts. Handle sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural assemblies with expertise in fabrication and assembly processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or assembly processes. Support the use of schematics and technical manuals for accurate project execution. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely when moving heavy materials or finished products. Experience Construction site experience or manufacturing background with hands-on fabrication work. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise fabrication. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools. Knowledge of mechanical systems including pipe threading, ductwork installation, rigging, and assembly processes. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and material quantities accurately. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites or manufacturing environments including forklift operation and use of hand tools.
