Job Description

Adamstown Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary inventory professional to oversee hospital inventory systems, purchasing, and operational supply management across our veterinary hospitals. This is a full-time position focused primarily on inventory coordination and hospital operations support. We are specifically seeking candidates with prior veterinary inventory experience who are comfortable taking ownership of systems, organization, and day-to-day operational oversight. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, efficiency, accountability, and keeping a fast-paced veterinary hospital running smoothly behind the scenes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Veterinary Inventory Operations Oversee inventory management across all hospital departments, including: Medical and surgical supplies Pharmacy inventory Online pharmacy coordination Preventative products Client retail items General hospital supplies Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform routine audits Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering and replenishment Track expiration dates and minimize inventory loss and waste Receive, organize, and distribute hospital shipments Maintain inventory systems within Cornerstone, including item setup and GL coding Process invoices and coordinate with bookkeeping regarding inventory-related documentation Work directly with vendors regarding ordering, shortages, pricing, and product issues Help develop and improve inventory systems and organizational processes across the hospitals
Secondary Responsibilities:
Building & Operations Oversight Assist with oversight of general hospital maintenance needs Coordinate communication regarding facility repairs, service vendors, and operational upkeep Help ensure hospital organization, functionality, and operational efficiency across both locations Qualifications Prior veterinary inventory experience required Prior veterinary hospital experience required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Comfortable managing both physical inventory tasks and administrative coordination Ability to remain active throughout the hospital environment Experience with Cornerstone preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills This Position Is a Great Fit for
