Updated 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Job Description- Perform layout, fabrication, repair, modification, and installation of aircraft sheet metal components to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.
- Use technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA-approved data to ensure structural work meets quality and safety standards.

Up to $34.00/hour, $5.00 shift differential applies Education & Job Requirements- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of modification and fabrication experience on General Aviation/Corporate Jet Aircraft.
- Experience with aircraft sheetmetal fabrication, installation, and repair.
- Proficiency with aircraft structural tools and measuring instruments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident.
- A passing sheetmetal plate test is required prior to starting. Preferred Skills
- Airframe License or equivalent aerospace technical credentials. Job Duties & Functions
- Read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and engineered drawings to complete assigned work accurately
- Lay out patterns and templates for sheet metal parts and assemblies
- Fabricate, trim, form, assemble, and install sheet metal components and structures on aircraft airframes
- Perform structural repairs, replacements, and modifications as directed
- Use hand tools and powered equipment in accordance with safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
- Accurately document completed work, materials used, and maintain records per regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams to facilitate efficient aircraft turnaround Physical Requirements & Environment
- Work in an aircraft hangar and shop floor environment, including areas requiring climbing, bending, and stooping
- Frequent use of hand and power tools and adherence to PPE requirements
