We are seeking an experienced Journeyman PVC Single Ply Roofer / Sheet Metal Fabricator or equivalent experienced to join our Grapevine TX, team. This position is responsible for fabricating various sheet metal and PVC roofing parts and accessories. Must be able to work in inclement weather production facility using a programmable Schechtl brake and shear, leister 110v hand welder, 2" silicon leister hand roller, HQ seam probe and other hand tools.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

• Fabricate a variety of PVC Single Ply parts, sheet metal parts and accessories, including drip edge, gravel guard, scuppers, pitch pans, and various custom designs.
• Use measurements and scales accurately, including the use of micrometers and discerning metal gauges.
• Utilize electronic devices effectively, such as an iPhone and PC laptop, for job-related tasks.
• Operate Schechtl computer program.

Education, Preparation, Skills and Training:

• Minimum 5 years of journeyman-level or equivalent PVC Single Ply Roofer roofing and sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in reading, understanding, and following shop print and detail drawings.
• Knowledge of using measurements and scales, including micrometers and metal gauges.
• Ability to use jigs with a high level of proficiency.
• Accurate mathematical calculation skills.
• Mechanical inclination and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Proficiency in using electronic devices such as iPhones and PC laptops.
• Experience with AutoCAD is desired but not required.
• Forklift certification is desired but not required.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
