Updated 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Licensed Heavy Structures MechanicJob DescriptionThe Licensed Heavy Structures Mechanic will perform structural maintenance and repairs on commercial aircraft, including repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft structures. You will use OEM and engineering drawings to modify aircraft structures or interiors, complete specialized tasks such as flap peening and cold working, fabricate repair parts using shop tooling, and utilize specialized installation tools to ensure structural integrity and compliance with company and regulatory standards.             Required Education & Job Requirements
            • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
            • A minimum of 3 years of commercial MRO experience.
            • Experience with Airbus 319, 320, 330, 340, 380 aircraft.
            • Experience performing SRM (Structural Repair Manual) repairs.
            • Ability to complete skin repairs and skin replacements.
            • Experience with floor beam repairs, frame repairs, stringer repairs, and seat track repairs. Job Duties & Functions
            • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures.
            • Utilize OEM and engineering drawings to modify aircraft structures or interiors.
            • Complete specialized tasks such as flap peening, cold working, and other structural processes.
            • Fabricate repair parts using shop tooling such as brakes and stretchers.
            • Utilize specialized installation tools, including blind rivet guns, to install components. Physical Requirements & Environment
            • Work in a hangar or maintenance environment.
            • Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, reaching, and working with hand and power tools.
