Job Description
Job Summary New Farm Solar is seeking a motivated Solar Technician with a passion for learning and problem solving. The ideal candidate has some experience with solar, electrical work, no fear of heights, and most importantly, an interest in the solar industry as a career. This role involves working on rooftops and construction sites, ensuring that solar panels are installed efficiently and safely according to specifications. Duties Work with a crew to complete major installations Organize maintenance tasks and complete them in an efficient manner Troubleshoot issues Communicate with manufacturer help lines Install rooftop solar panels Ability to lift heavy objects (100+ lbs.) Document installation processes, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during work. Customer communications Experience/Requirements Self-motivated Able to drive a vehicle with no limitations (background check required) Ability to work flexible schedules, from 12 hour days to overnights to multiple days off Proficiency in using hand tools, voltmeters, and other relevant equipment for installations. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
