Introduction We are a small locally owned Solar Design and Installation company. Our dynamic business needs an energetic, motivated Solar Installer eager to develop a career in the solar and battery installation field. Our Solar Installers play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of our solar systems, and providing top-tier service to our customers. Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Solar Installer and be at the forefront of renewable energy innovation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems on residential and commercial rooftops and ground-mounted sites. Your expertise will help accelerate the transition to sustainable energy while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. Duties Prepare for jobs by stocking trucks with necessary equipment Read and comprehend building plans for roof, ground mount and hybrid system installations. Bend and lay conduit, work with electrical panels and install batteries and generators Assemble solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative mounting equipment, etc. Organizing and maintaining system components Clean up the jobsite, unload and restock job materials Maintain the highest level of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues. Communicate in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner General construction work such as use of hand, measuring, leveling, and power tools, etc. Maintaining documentation of completed installations Working outside in various weather conditions Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in a relevant field (e.g., NABCEP) are a plus General construction knowledge or project management including roofing, electrical, carpentry, or general construction experience is a plus Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and systems Ability to read and interpret building and electrical plans Strong physical fitness and the ability to work at heights Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license Schedule Monday - Thursday Join us in powering the future! $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
