The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles and the ability to work with both high and low-voltage AC/DC systems. The Solar Electrician will ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential settings. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete installations and repairs effectively. Work with low voltage systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met. Use voltmeters and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical problems. Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations during all tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects. Comprehensive understanding of AC/DC operating currents and inverters Qualifications Proven experience as a Solar Technician/Electrician or similar role(s) is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including inverters, disconnects, panel boards, and their corresponding installation techniques. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters. Proficiency in bending conduit, pulling wire, and tying into switch gear. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical installations. Familiarity with safety practices related to electrical work is essential. Forklift operation experience is a plus but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
