Job Description

Job Summary Highly respected and reputable small family business is seeking dependable, positive, and dedicated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in construction with a strong understanding of hand tools and basic knowledge of plumbing and/or electrical. However, any similar background or construction experience is acceptable as long as this individual is a quick learner with strong desire to learn our trade. This role involves installing solar panels on residential and some commercial rooftops, ensuring compliance with safety standards, a grade A customer experience, and a clean installation. Seeking an individual with an eye for detials and problem solving capacity. Searching for a self starting, motivated, and good communicator whom is able to function in outdoor weather and in for the long haul. The Solar Installer will work collaboratively with a team to deliver high-quality installations while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency, adding to the value of our business and operations while growing into a project manager position. Responsibilities Install solar panel systems on roofs and other structures in accordance with project specifications. Read and interpret contract documents and manufacturing guidelines to determine the layout of solar panel installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for fixture installation. Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team electricians to integrate solar systems into existing electrical frameworks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in a construction, plumbing, or electrical role is preferred. Familiarity with fixture installation techniques and practices. Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems, including wiring and connections related to solar installations. Ability to read technical drawings accurately. Experience working on rooftops and understanding of roof safety protocols. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to installation tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
