This role involves inspecting and ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of solar energy systems installed on various sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, construction, and roofing, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects while utilizing a diverse set of technical skills. Responsibilities Conduct detailed inspections of solar panel installations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and electrical codes such as NEC. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to solar systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for installation, troubleshooting, and repairs. Document inspection findings accurately and report issues for resolution. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards. Requirements Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in electrical construction with knowledge of NEC standards. Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to solar or electrical projects. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fixture installation techniques. Background in Solar Installations Must be comfortable working at heights on rooftops or elevated structures. Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA guidelines required. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments including construction sites.
