Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Panel Washing Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the optimal performance of solar energy systems by thoroughly cleaning and inspecting solar panels. Your work will contribute directly to maximizing energy efficiency and ensuring the longevity of solar installations. Duties Safely operate ladders and scaffolding to access solar panels at various heights, ensuring stability and security during cleaning procedures Use industrial cleaning equipment, including pressure washers and hand tools, to remove dirt, debris, bird droppings, and other residues from solar panels Apply proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy cleaning equipment or panels to prevent injury Follow strict safety protocols by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, helmets, and harnesses at all times during outdoor work Conduct routine inspections of solar panel systems for damage or dirt accumulation that could affect performance Qualifications Prior experience with ladder use, industrial cleaning, or outdoor maintenance is highly desirable Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including pressure washing and the use of various cleaning equipment Familiarity with hand tools, duct cleaning procedures, and safety protocol adherence is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in outdoor environments Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of their solar systems Experience with commercial cleaning or outdoor work environments is a plus Valid understanding of safety procedures related to fire extinguishers and PPE usage is essential Join us as a Solar Panel Washing Technician and become part of a team dedicated to sustainable energy solutions!
