Job Description
Overview We are seeking experienced Lull and Excavator Operators to support pile installation on a utility-scale solar construction project. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment and be comfortable working around pile installation crews. Responsibilities Operate Lull/telehandler and excavator equipment safely and efficiently. Support the installation of solar foundation piles throughout the project site. Position, stage, and move materials and equipment as directed by the site supervisor. Use equipment to assist pile installation crews with material handling and site preparation. Maintain proper equipment positioning and awareness while working around other crews and heavy machinery. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns. Follow project plans, site procedures, and instructions from supervisors. Maintain a safe and clean work area and follow all required OSHA and site-specific safety procedures. Requirements & Skills Previous experience operating Lulls/telehandlers and/or excavators on construction sites. Experience supporting pile installation, solar construction, or similar heavy civil work is preferred. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment around active construction crews. Knowledge of basic equipment inspections and maintenance. Ability to read and follow site instructions and project plans. Strong understanding of jobsite safety and safe equipment operation. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and in varying weather conditions. OSHA certification is a plus.
