We are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Residential Solar Installation Crew Leads. With a commitment to sustainability and renewable energy, Solar Energy Partners is dedicated to providing clean and cost-effective solar solutions to homeowners, while offering the highest quality solutions & being committed to delivering an unparalleled customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Planning and coordinating team installing solar panels and related equipment, following design plans and specifications. Mounting solar panels on rooftops or other structures, ensuring proper alignment and positioning. Connecting wiring and electrical components to integrate solar systems into existing electrical systems. Performing tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of solar systems. Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with solar installations and making necessary repairs. Assisting with site surveys and evaluations to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of solar systems. Training team members on installation processes and procedures. Ensuring the team adheres to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Assisting Operations leadership with process development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years experience in solar installation or a related field is required. Prior solar installation crew leadership is preferred. Working knowledge of electrical systems and principles. Experience / proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in solar installation. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday Travel between 25% and 50%
