Solar Energy World has Comcast's full backing and support as part of it's new Energy Services business unit, and they are focused on expanding our reach, and fully supporting our dedication to in-house quality, integrity, and lasting value for every homeowner we serve. Because tomorrow matters. We are looking for an experienced service tech to join our team in our DMV market.
Responsibilities:
  • Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures according to specifications
  • Connect solar panels to electrical systems and ensure proper wiring and connections
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on solar panel systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions with solar panel systems
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working at heights or with electrical equipment
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in solar panel installation or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring is required
  • Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in solar panel installation
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Forklift certification is a plus
