Job Description
Overview Brilliant By Night is hiring a Lead Exterior Lighting Installer & Trainer for a full-time salaried position helping install and train for permanent exterior lighting systems across multiple markets. This is a hands-on field role for someone who is experienced with ladders, tools, exterior installation work, and working around rooflines. You will lead installs, train installers, support jobsite quality, and help ensure projects are completed cleanly, safely, and professionally. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working at heights, and capable of leading by example in the field. This role requires about 50% travel and requires access to a reliable work truck capable of transporting ladders, tools, and materials. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in exterior lighting, gutters, roofing, siding, construction, Christmas lights, low-voltage work, or similar trades who wants a stable salaried role with leadership responsibility and room to grow with a fast-growing company. Duties Work safely and confidently from ladders and around rooflines, fascia, soffits, gutters, and exterior trim. Lead installation jobs and help ensure projects are completed cleanly, safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Assist in hiring and training new installers on installation methods, ladder safety, jobsite expectations, quality standards, and customer service standards. Review completed work to identify issues, prevent callbacks, and ensure a professional finished product. Organize and transport tools, ladders, materials, and inventory using a reliable work truck. Travel to other company markets for installs, training, quality control, and field support. Troubleshoot installation issues and help solve problems on active jobsites. Communicate professionally with customers, office staff, sales reps, and installers. Represent Brilliant By Night professionally on every jobsite. Requirements Ladder and exterior installation experience required. Must be extremely comfortable working on tall ladders and around residential rooflines. Experience using tools and completing exterior construction-type projects. Reliable work truck required. Candidate must have a truck capable of safely transporting ladders, tools, and installation materials to jobsites. Valid driver's license required. Must be willing to travel regularly, especially during the busy season. Must be reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, professional work. Must be physically able to lift equipment, carry ladders, work outdoors, and perform hands-on installation work. Must be able to communicate professionally with customers, office staff, sales reps, and other installers. Experience with permanent lighting, low-voltage lighting, gutters, siding, roofing, exterior trim, Christmas lights, construction, or similar exterior installation work is preferred. Experience leading jobsites or training installers is preferred.
