Take the Lead in Building a Cleaner Future Chester, NY $28-$34/ hr Overtime Opportunities Available Lead a Crew. Build Solar. Power the Future. Trinity Solar is seeking an experienced Solar Installation Crew Leader to lead residential solar installation projects in the Chester, NY area. In this role, you'll work hands-on in the field while leading a small installation team , ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. If you have solar, electrical, or roofing experience and are ready to step into a leadership role , this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in the rapidly expanding renewable energy industry. You'll play a key role in helping homeowners transition to clean energy while mentoring your team and ensuring every installation is done right. Roles & Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a crew installing residential solar systems Install solar panels, racking systems, wiring, and electrical components Ensure all installations meet NEC codes, company standards, and safety guidelines Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and training to installation team members Troubleshoot installation challenges and maintain project timelines Maintain accurate installation documentation and job photos Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal teams Ensure the jobsite is safe, organized, and professional Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment Qualifications & Experience 1-2+ years of solar installation, electrical, roofing, or construction experience Prior crew leadership or foreman experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and at heights Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
