Job Description

Ready to lead from the front and take ownership of solar installations in the field? Join our team as a Solar Installation Supervisor and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality solar systems to homeowners. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee installation crews, ensure projects are completed efficiently, and maintain the highest standards of safety and workmanship. If you have strong solar experience, enjoy leading teams, and take pride in getting the job done right, this is the role for you. What You'll Do Lead and supervise solar installation crews on residential job sites. Oversee the full installation process, ensuring projects are completed on time and to quality standards. Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety protocols, and applicable codes. Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other teams to keep projects on track. Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide guidance to team members in real time. Train, mentor, and support crew members to improve performance and skill development. Conduct site assessments and verify readiness for installation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite. Document project progress with photos and notes. Equipment You'll Use Solar racking and mounting systems Hand and power tools Ladders, fall protection, and rooftop safety equipment Measuring and layout tools Company vehicle for travel between job sites A Typical Day Start your day reviewing project plans and crew assignments Lead your team on-site and set up for installation Oversee installation progress and ensure quality and safety standards are met Troubleshoot issues and adjust plans as needed Communicate updates with internal teams and homeowners Wrap up the jobsite and prepare for the next project What We're Looking For 2+ years of solar installation experience required Prior experience in a crew lead or supervisory role preferred Strong knowledge of solar installation practices and safety standards Ability to read plans, layouts, and technical specifications Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
