Job Description

Overview TSI is seeking an experienced contract solar technician to complete residential solar service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment replacements. This is a contract position paid per completed job. The ideal candidate is dependable, communicates well, and can complete assignments independently. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential solar systems Troubleshoot production and communication issues Replace microinverters, optimizers, inverters, and other system components Commission equipment and reconnect systems to monitoring platforms Document completed work with clear notes and photos Communicate professionally with homeowners and our project management team Install replacement hardware and batteries Requirements Previous solar installation or service experience Working knowledge of Enphase, SolarEdge, and Tesla systems Own standard electrical and solar service tools Own a suitable extension ladder Reliable vehicle and transportation Ability to safely access and work on residential roofs Ability to troubleshoot systems independently Smartphone capable of taking photos and accessing manufacturer applications Professional appearance and communication Electrical experience, manufacturer certifications, and OSHA training are preferred. Compensation This is an independent contractor position. Technicians are paid per successfully completed job. Compensation will be provided and agreed upon before each assignment.
