Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing solar energy systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your expertise will help clients harness clean, renewable energy while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions and grow your skills in a fast-paced construction environment. Duties Safely install solar panels, mounting systems, inverters, and electrical components according to project specifications and blueprints. Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints to ensure precise installation procedures. Connect high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols. Use hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and other construction tools to complete installations efficiently. Perform fixture installation, wiring, grounding, and electrical connections with attention to detail and safety regulations. Conduct site assessments including roofing inspections and prepare the work area for installation activities. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks such as plumbing connections or fixture mounting when necessary. Operate forklifts or other machinery safely on construction sites to transport materials as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards at all times. Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues during installation or commissioning phases. Qualifications Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in electrical construction projects involving high voltage systems. Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints reading, and electrical wiring practices compliant with NEC standards. Hands-on experience with fixture installation, roofing work, plumbing integration, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Familiarity with low voltage systems, electrical codes, safety procedures, and construction site protocols. Ability to operate forklifts or similar equipment safely on job sites is preferred. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety regulations related to roofing and electrical work is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical or structural issues during installations.
