Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and hardworking Awning & Solar Screen Installer / Assembler to join a growing team in Lubbock, TX. This position involves installing and assembling solar screens, patio shades, and window coverings while providing quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Install custom-fit solar screens that reduce heat by 10-15 degrees and block up to 90% of UV rays Install motorized and manual patio shades for patios, pergolas, and outdoor spaces Measure windows and materials accurately using a tape measure Assemble and install window coverings and related products Safely use hand and power tools Climb ladders and perform heavy lifting as needed Troubleshoot and problem-solve during installations
Qualifications:
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately Basic tool experience required Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Experience in assembly, construction, or production work preferred Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR required) High school diploma or
GED Work Environment:
Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and climbing
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
