No solar experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate the Southern Solar way. If you enjoy working outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a team that takes pride in quality workmanship, we encourage you to apply. We are looking for honest, reliable individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Previous construction, roofing, electrical, or solar experience is a plus but not required. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the installation of residential and commercial solar energy systems. Install solar panels, racking systems, and related equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted arrays. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation plans. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and jobsite equipment. Perform site preparation and material staging for solar installations. Work alongside experienced team members to learn proper installation techniques. Assist with electrical wiring and equipment connections under supervision. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite. Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Ensure all work is completed to Southern Solar's quality standards. Collaborate with team members to solve problems and complete projects efficiently. Represent Southern Solar professionally when interacting with customers and the public. Remain compliant with all OSHA, company, and jobsite safety requirements. QualificationsRequired Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
