Solar Installer Arch Solar C&I Milwaukee, WI Job Details Full-time From $23 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Qualifications Photovoltaic system installation Interpersonal skills Outdoor work experience OSHA 10 Driver's License Full Job Description As an Installer (also known as a Solar Technician) on our Wisconsin commercial team, you will assist the electrical and mechanical teams in providing consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products to our customers. This role requires excellent attendance and the ability to work in potentially difficult weather and terrain conditions. Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Configuring, installing, inspecting and maintaining solar systems for commercial scale projects Assessing the environment to detect and mitigate any hazards that may be associated with installation Mapping out where projects and pieces go, placing components according to provided diagrams Sealing the system against weather, using safety codes and manufacturer specifications Keeping job sites clean and safe We service customers primarily in Southeastern Wisconsin but have projects throughout the state as a whole. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and preferably are OSHA 10 certified, but not required. Individuals interested in this role must be comfortable working at heights, working around loud or distracting noise levels, working in various weather conditions, and have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, crouch, crawl, bend, twist and climb frequently.
