Refinishing Technician

We specialize in restoring and refinishing bathtubs, tile, countertops, and other surfaces for apartment communities and homeowners throughout the Southeast. Instead of tearing out and replacing worn or damaged surfaces, we make them look new again. No refinishing experience is required. We will train the right person. What You'll Do As a RestoreThat Technician, you will travel to apartment communities and residential properties to complete refinishing and restoration projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing bathtubs, countertops, tile, and other surfaces for refinishing Cleaning, sanding, repairing, masking, priming, and spraying surfaces Removing and replacing caulk when needed Using professional spray equipment and refinishing products Taking before-and-after photos and completing quality-control checks Keeping the company van, tools, and equipment clean and organized Maintaining inventory of materials and supplies Communicating professionally with property managers, maintenance teams, homeowners, and coworkers Following all company procedures and safety requirements Traveling throughout our service territory as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and on time Comfortable working with their hands Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work Able to work independently and as part of a team Willing to learn a skilled trade Comfortable using tools and spray equipment Able to work in bathrooms, kitchens, apartments, and occupied or vacant homes Able to lift equipment and materials and perform physical work throughout the day Comfortable driving and traveling to different job locations Professional around customers and property management teams Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to the RestoreThat shop or designated meeting location Ability to pass a background check when required by apartment communities Ability to work a full-time schedule Willingness to travel throughout the service area Ability to wear required safety equipment and follow safety procedures Previous experience in painting, automotive body work, construction, maintenance, remodeling, spraying, or refinishing is helpful—but not required.
