Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tub Tile and Countertop Resurfacer to join our dynamic restoration and construction team. In this role, you will specialize in revitalizing worn or damaged tiles, countertops and tubs transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help clients restore their homes and commercial properties to their original beauty, ensuring high-quality finishes and durable results. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about construction, renovation, and surface restoration to make a tangible impact on client spaces. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing tiles and countertops to ensure optimal adhesion of resurfacing materials. Apply specialized coatings, paints, or resins to tile surfaces and countertops to restore appearance and functionality. Use hand tools and power tools such as grinders, sanders, caulking guns, and buffing machines to achieve smooth finishes. Read schematics, blueprints, or technical instructions to accurately execute resurfacing projects according to specifications. Perform water damage restoration tasks related to tile and countertop areas, including mold removal and surface sealing. Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, or cabinetry as needed to complement resurfaced surfaces. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, flooring installation, tile laying, or related renovation work. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to surface restoration projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction painting, concrete finishing, caulking, buffing, and fixture installation. Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety procedures and site protocols. Knowledge of the restoration industry industry standards including water damage restoration techniques. Ability to perform detailed craftsmanship with attention to quality and durability of finished surfaces. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project needs; handyman experience is a plus.
