Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Granite Countertop Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, fabricating, and installing high-quality granite countertops in residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of construction skills to deliver beautiful, durable results that exceed client expectations. Duties Measure and interpret dimensional measurements and blueprints to ensure precise countertop fabrication and installation Cut, shape, and fabricate granite slabs using power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment according to technical drawings and specifications Install countertops securely following blueprint plans, construction plans, and industry best practices Use ladders safely to access elevated areas during installation processes Perform surface preparation tasks such as caulking, sealing, and finishing to ensure a flawless appearance Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to schedule installations and address any on-site adjustments or concerns Conduct quality inspections during and after installation to verify adherence to safety standards and client specifications Skills Proficiency with Bluebeam software for reviewing construction plans and technical drawings Strong construction management skills with experience in remodeling, drywall, tile masonry, flooring installation, and fixture installation Skilled in construction estimating, inspection, and interpreting technical drawings for accurate fabrication and installation Experience with plumbing, electrical work, gutter installation, plastering, stucco application, and masonry enhances versatility Expertise in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, ladder use, and measuring devices such as tape measures Knowledge of building material installation including cabinetry, door hanging, framing carpentry, drywall finishing, caulking, and tile laying Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and adherence to all safety standards during installations Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your construction expertise in a fast-paced environment.
