EVS AIDE
to work in Ironwood, Michigan at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital. This position cleans and maintains all carpeted and hard floor surfaces in the facility and outlying clinics. Performs preventive maintenance on all floor equipment. Other duties include but are not limited to: Performs cleaning and maintenance of all floors: carpets, tile, mats, etc. Uses the appropriate chemicals, supplies and cleaning techniques according to procedure and manufacturers. Cleans and disinfects patient rooms; all surfaces and bed linens. Observes safety precautions utilizing safety signs or ropes off section being cleaned. Follows infection control practices.
HOURS:
This position is Full Time; 0.75 FTE or 60 hours per pay period. Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of aseptic techniques normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Aspirus Ironwood Hospital includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, multi-specialty clinic, satellite clinic in Wisconsin, surgical clinic, walk-in clinic and a home health agency. Ironwood's service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 4 bed ICU, 3 bed OB unit, and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually. The hospital's inpatient census is 10 patients per day. The outpatient clinic has over 50,000 visits annually.
