Granite & Quartz Countertop Installer The Rock Shop (TRS) is looking for an experienced Granite & Quartz Countertop Installer to join our team in Marquette, MI. We are a locally owned countertop fabrication and installation company specializing in granite, quartz, and quartzite countertops . Our team takes pride in quality craftsmanship, professional installations, and providing customers with a great experience from start to finish. Position Overview The Countertop Installer will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and professional installation of residential and commercial stone countertops. This position involves working with our fabrication and installation team to ensure each project is completed to our quality standards. Responsibilities Install granite, quartz, and quartzite countertops in residential and commercial settings Safely transport and handle large, heavy stone slabs and countertops Set, level, and secure countertops to cabinetry Install and finish seams Perform sink cutouts, sink installations, and related countertop work Install backsplashes and other stone surfaces as needed Make minor adjustments and field modifications when necessary Protect customer homes, cabinetry, flooring, and other finished surfaces during installation Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards Qualifications Previous experience installing granite, quartz, quartzite, or other countertop materials preferred Strong understanding of countertop installation methods and practices Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy materials Comfortable working in residential and commercial construction environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Professional appearance and customer-service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work as part of a team Experience with stone fabrication, polishing, templating, or CNC/waterjet equipment is a plus.
