Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surface Prep Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing showers for tile installation to ensure showers will not leak and are up to industries specifications. You will be installing all components of the Schluter Brand wtaerproofing system. From foam pans, curbs, pre made corners etc. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills in surface preparation to contribute to beautiful, durable finishes. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and leveling to meet project specifications using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to accurately execute surface prep tasks Apply Schluter system components to create watertight shower assemblies Use hand tools such as mixers & saws to mix and cut materials. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on surface preparation or related fields such as flooring installation or restoration industry experience Attend Schluter training program (provided) Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to surface prep tasks Proficiency with hand tools and power tools (e.g., drills, grinders), and construction equipment Familiarity with tile laying, Schluter system components, and new construction processes Excellent attention to detail combined with physical stamina for long hours on-site Clean driving record and ability to be insured. Pay:
