Job Description

Tim Steuber Pork is a family-owned and operated swine production company committed to raising healthy hogs with the highest standards of animal care and welfare. We are currently seeking an experienced Finisher Caretaker to join our wean-to-finish swine operation. Key Responsibilities Daily care and monitoring of approximately 8,000 finishing pigs Administering vaccinations and treatments as needed Monitor pigs for signs of illness and implement treatment protocols Maintaining accurate production and health records for assigned barns Coordinating the movement and marketing of finished hogs Creating and managing feed orders for assigned facilities Performing routine barn maintenance and repairs Assisting with general farm maintenance and operational tasks Schedule & Benefits Average workweek of 40-45 hours Typical workday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Every other weekend rotation Paid holidays Flexible scheduling Company vehicle provided for work-related duties Qualifications Previous swine production experience encouraged, preferably in finishing operations Strong animal husbandry and observation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good record-keeping and organizational abilities Valid driver's license required If you are passionate about livestock care and want to work for a family-run operation that values both its animals and employees, we encourage you to apply.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
