In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing a variety of tile surfaces across custom home new builds and remodels Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in tile installation and related construction disciplines. Duties Measure, cut, and lay tiles accurately according to blueprints, schematics, and project plans Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate adhesives or mortar for optimal adhesion Install various types of tiles including ceramic, porcelain, stone, glass, and mosaic tiles with attention to detail Use hand tools and power tools such as tile cutters, wet saws, drills, and grinders safely and effectively Perform surface preparation tasks like concrete forming, plastering, or masonry work as needed for tile installation Seal grout lines with caulking or sealing compounds to ensure durability and water resistance Collaborate with project managers, construction management teams, and other trades such as plumbing and electrical crews to coordinate work seamlessly Requirements Proven experience in tile laying and installation on construction sites or remodeling projects Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings Familiarity with construction management practices and estimating processes Ability to operate heavy equipment and use various hand tools and power tools safely Knowledge of construction inspection standards and quality control procedures Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and layout tasks Physical stamina to stand, kneel, lift heavy materials, and work in various environmental conditions for extended periods Join our team today to bring innovative design ideas to life through expert tile craftsmanship!
