Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Granite Installer to oversee and execute the installation of granite surfaces with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate will lead a team of installers, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver exceptional results on every project. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the installation of granite countertops, slabs, and other stone surfaces on various projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed installation instructions to ensure accurate placement. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Manage on-site activities, including preparation of surfaces, framing, caulking, trimming, and finishing work such as polishing or sealing. Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with specifications; address any issues promptly. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and company safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in construction site management or lead installation roles within the stone or construction industry. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and construction schematics. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques related to stone installation. Familiarity with construction estimating, inspection procedures, and quality control standards. Experience working with various materials such as concrete forming, plastering, masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration is advantageous. Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems related to fixtures or lighting installations can be beneficial. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining safety standards and high-quality workmanship.
