Duties Construct and renovate pools by applying masonry techniques, including rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing to ensure durable structures. Install tiles, pavers, plastering finishes, and trim carpentry details to achieve aesthetic excellence. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to prepare sites, pour concrete, and execute precise cuts for custom features. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project specifications and ensure quality standards are met. Perform restoration work on existing pools or hardscape features by assessing damage and executing repairs with caulking, welding, or metal stud framing as needed. Collaborate with team members on construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material needs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites while managing site logistics efficiently. Experience Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on masonry, tile laying, or pool renovation projects. Skilled in concrete finishing techniques including floating, troweling, and sealing for smooth surfaces. Hands-on knowledge of rebar installation, form building, plastering, stucco application, and restoration practices. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes. Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels; power tools including saws and drills; heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or mini-excavators is a plus. Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction environments including roofing or framing work when applicable.
