The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining residential septic systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Installer will ensure that all installations meet safety standards and are completed efficiently. Responsibilities Install equipment and systems according to specifications and safety guidelines. Operate heavy equipment as necessary for installation tasks. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively. Conduct inspections of installed equipment to ensure proper functionality. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects on time. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Drive trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites as needed. Complete paperwork in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with all state regulations. Required Experience and Skills Proven experience operating excavators, preferably as a septic installer or in the plumbing field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, DEQ Onsite Installer license within 6 months. A valid driver's license is required for truck driving responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications Class A CDL is highly desired , or the ability to obtain one within 6 months DEQ Onsite Installer license. If applicant does not have license, we will train you, but you must obtain this license no later than 6 months after employment.
